No matter your age, one thing that all males forget to do is maintain a healthy grooming routine. All guys should treat their styling and grooming habits as a part of their normal, healthy morning routine.
Just like you like to work out to stay fit, keeping a regular grooming routine will help you look younger and more appealing to the eye. To make things easier for you, we have outlined an easy routine you can add to your daily morning ritual.
Let’s start off with the money maker, your facial hair. Whether it’s a clean cut, or a 3 inch beard, you should always make sure it is well maintained with a regular trim/shave. Besides general maintenance, one thing that always seems to bug me is ingrown hairs. Luckily there are products now readily available to help you fight them off in a painless and easy way. Something that I have been using for a while and that I would recommend you to try out is “Anthony Ingrown Hair Treatment”. This treatment is easy to use and you can keep it on-hand all year long.
Staying on the topic of facial hair, those thick beards seem to keep our faces protected from the chilly, cold winds. But what some people may not know (mostly men that can’t grow a thick, juicy beard) is that you need to properly groom and nurture that fine hair just like you would with your head hair. Some essential grooming tips for your beard would be the use of beard oils and even a beard wash. Just like rinsing your hair, cleansing your facial hair of dirt and oil will give it a more polished appearance and helps keep the skin underneath your beard/mustache hydrated.
Next up, lets look after the skin on your face. As a guy, you may have been taught that just washing your face with cold water to take care of your skin. But if you want healthy-looking skin that will last as you grow older, then you will need to take additional steps. It doesn’t have to be a big ordeal; it will only take an additional few minutes to add in a face cleanser, exfoliator and moisturizer. Make sure you are using a cleanser that is geared towards your skin type because a good cleanser can help deep clean and remove all the debris in your pores. Every few days, you should also use an exfoliator, because this will help remove all the dead skin, dirt and leave your skin looking brighter and healthier. At the end of it all, it is a good idea to use a moisturizer for your skin as doing so will help it retain its elasticity and keep it from getting too flaky. Here are some cleansers, exfoliators and moisturizers that you should try out.
Lastly, you can’t forget your hair. It is the first thing people notice about us, and have you ever seen a recognizable figure with shabby hair? Make sure you are using the correct type of comb and the right shampoo/conditioner for your specific need. When it comes to the combs, we would suggest using a normal straight edged one for people that have thinner hair. Those of us blessed with thick hair, the route to go would be with a brush with the circle bristles at the end. Their wide spacing helps get deep with the thicker hair. As far as Shampoos and Conditioners are concerned, I’m sure you already have favorite that you have been using for years. One thing you always need to look out for is the ingredients and harmful substances that many shampoos and conditioners contain in them. Substances such as sodium sulfate, potassium sorbate and polysorbates that can cause sever damage to your hair. You deserve the best, so make sure you use the best shampoo and conditioner that contains no harmful substances and is a hair loss treatment.
So that is it, some easy and useful tips you can incorporate into your morning routine. Don’t be nervous, give it a try and I promise you will be loving the results.
